The ugly duckling of Ridley Scott’s otherwise-stellar franchise and sacrilegous [mail-in] follow-up of two of the greatest science-fiction films of all-time, Alien 3 is a herculean disappointment potential trilogy-ending for xenomorphs – despite a couple of respectable risks-taken direction-wise. 3.2/10.
Plot Synopsis: Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is the only survivor when she crash lands on Fiorina 161, a bleak wasteland inhabited by former inmates of the planet’s maximum security prison. Once again, Ripley must face skepticism and the alien as it hunts down the prisoners and guards. Without weapons or modern technology of any kind, Ripley leads the men into battle against the terrifying creature.
