Dig Dug (1982)

A Q.T. subterranean coin-op golden-age maze oeuvre with a cute overworld palette, great character/kaiju stylization, customizable strategy, easy home platform conversion, and cytolitic inflation of the dot-eater status quo to even proselytize a VG excavation faze. 9/10.

Plot Synopsis: Dig Dug is a maze arcade game developed by Namco in 1981 and released in 1982, distributed in North America by Atari, Inc. The player controls Dig Dug to defeat all enemies per stage, by either inflating them to bursting or crushing them underneath rocks.
