Elvis (2022)

Though CLC Reiterates Baz Luhrmann Is The Greatest Visual Director Alive [As Clearly Visible In Every Painting-Like Cinematography Frame] & TH’s Performance Dazzles, Elvis is a biopic generations too-late for the once-king of rock n’ roll: having lost ~all cache, released at a crisis time in the USA ineffective of gooey ’50’s nostalgia, & horrifically miscast by a gothy nonlookalike enough to never once sell the guttural ‘uh-huhs’. 5/10.

Plot Synopsis: Elvis Presley rises to fame in the 1950s while maintaining a complex relationship with his manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
