Ghostbusters (1984)

A paranormal ’80’s cultural phenomenon emblematizing the bonkers jocularity/excess of the era to a [para]-science, Ghostbusters is a classic proto-blockbuster – with A-list [Murray-led] cast, legacy of helping bring big-VFX spectacle to screen. one of the best theme songs ever, and epic Aykroyd-concept blending action, sci-fi, comedy, and horror. 8.5/10.

Plot Synopsis: After the members of a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) lose their cushy positions at a university in New York City, they decide to become “ghostbusters” to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money.
