Grease (1978)

One of the most iconic musicals and time-capsule pop culture exhibitions of ’50’s & teenage love, Grease’s catchy [if screwball] song-and-dance numbers, chemistry of leads, sugar-rush energy/kitsch, and magnetic suave charm of a career-making Travolta performance overshadow its flaws & genericism of plot. 7.6/10.

Plot Synopsis: Experience the friendships, romances and adventures of a group of high school kids in the 1950s. Welcome to the singing and dancing world of “Grease,” the most successful movie musical of all time. A wholesome exchange student (Olivia Newton-John) and a leather-clad Danny (John Travolta) have a summer romance, but will it cross clique lines?
