One of the earliest & most groundbreaking productions ever made, LRN is a remarkably-complex Méliès français oeuvre of yuletide féerie cinématographique en silence w. theatrical narrative structure, eclectic staging & design, frolicking gaiety/mirth – even if, of course, in brevity. 9/10.
