デスノート: Death Note (’07)

The Greatest Animé Of All-Time, Death Note is a chef d’oeuvre of religion exposition like nothing else in the history of TV – from divine/mankind justice psychosocioanalytical themes to devilish chiaroscuro aestheticization, noirisms, death exploration, juxtaposition of nihilistic prolix vs. the power of God, hyperimaginative supernature, nightmare-fuel iconography, breathtakingly-written characters, epic twists in a wildly-unpredictable narrative, & tactical cat-and-mouse thriller countermoves. 10/10.

Plot Synopsis: A high-school student discovers a supernatural notebook that grants its user the ability to kill whomever he chooses.
