Though MJ’s performance is ~bad [despite playing himself.. somehow; certainly not the G.O.A.T. beyond basketball], Space Jam is a classic ’90’s sports epic of cartoon zest/joviality fun by its Looney Tunes mayhem, metaphorization of sports-capitalism, fine animated/live-action mixes, and sports action. 6/10.

When an evil alien theme park named Moron Mountain needs a new attraction to draw in customers, Swackhammer sends his minions to kidnap Bugs Bunny (Billy West) and the Looney Tunes, Bugs challenges them to a basketball game to determine their fate. The aliens agree, stealing the powers of star NBA basketball players like Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing, so Bugs recruits superstar Michael Jordan (Michael Jordan) himself.
