The French Dispatch (2021)

A delightful, honeyed, candy-coated love-letter to the spirit of journalism by lens of a fictional 20th Century news publication, TFD breathes pure grandiloquence, richly-detailed ocular craftsmanship, wry burlesque comedy, and avant-garde stylistic auterism signature of Wes Anderson’s filmography with one of the greatest indie casts ever-assembled. 9.3/10.

Plot Synopsis: A love letter to journalists set in an outpost of an American newspaper in a fictional 20th-century French city that brings to life a collection of stories published in “The French Dispatch.”
