Tower Heist (2011)

An engaging heist film about working-class people who don’t know how to be criminals, TH is a rootable underdog-rebellion of the little guys against big Wall Street-capitalism that finds strongly-cast protagonists in Stiller and a [thankfully-serious] Murphy for plenty of comedy and thrills. 7.3/10.

Plot Synopsis: For more than 10 years, Josh Kovaks (Ben Stiller) has managed one of New York City’s most luxurious and well-secured residences. One of the condo’s most-notorious residents, Arthur Shaw (Alan Alda), is currently under house arrest for the theft of more than $2 billion from his investors — including Josh and his co-workers. Determined to reclaim the retirement funds Shaw stole from them, they turn to a petty crook named Slide (Eddie Murphy) to help them break into Shaw’s home.
